Dr. [2] Shoes offers free shoes to diabetics who have Medicare or Medicaid coverage!
Please contact Kelly Owens, Diabetic Foot Specialist with Dr. [2] Shoes, at 704-222-2712 for information on free orthopedic shoes for diabetics who have Medicare or Medicaid coverage.

In an attempt to decrease foot amputations, diabetics are allowed one free pair of orthopedic shoes a year.  Ms. Owens visits churches, senior centers, and low income neighborhoods to register people for the free shoes.  Many of the people meets are very happy to learn about this program.
